PS ART 2015 SEMI-FINALIST WINNER
Fifth grade artist William Wong of class 5-303 has been selected as a semi-finalist winner for PS Art 2015. This art contest is a citywide art competition that is partnered with the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Studio in a School. William's painting will be listed in a publication celebrating PS Art 2015. His artwork was inspired by paintings by Oscar Bluemner and uses the art techniques of implied line and silhouette. First grade artist Rachel Lee of class 2-216 has been selected as a semi-finalist winner for PS Art 2015. Her painting shows the architecture, transportation and fashion of Old New York. Rachel's drawing will be listed in a publication celebrating PS Art 2015. Her use of hatching , texture and pattern shows a delightful attention to detail!
